Thankful Heart

If you were to open the dictionary (or google) I’m certain my picture would be next to the entry for GRATEFUL.

I am thankful for life and the amazing fact that I was blessed with a second chance at life. Thankful doesn’t come close to how we feel about the selfless act of my donor and my donors family. Thankful that my ONE YEAR post transplant check up was all great news.

So incredibly thankful for my family and the unconditional love! Very thankful for sweet Cade. He makes my heart so happy even when he growls at me.

I am so thankful for the Bestie Trip! My soul was rejuvenated. There is something magical about spending time with the person who knows my heart better than I do. I’m the luckiest bestie. I love you, Katie Sue.

My husband is the true champ of this journey. His strong love for me, his firm yet sweet bossiness and pushing me extra hard to recover, to walk again and to be the best version of myself. I’m so blessed to have this man, he’s the true love of my life.
